Books Available June 15, 2012--more

This is the second post for today.  See below for first one. I apologize for the lateness.  Not only was I away, but there were a whole lot of books available today to look through!

FICTION

The Vanishing
"When Casey Campbell wakes up she finds herself in a nightmare world where there are no adults. In this new society there is just one important question; who will live and who will die? Casey finds herself in charge of a group of girls and must use her intelligence and courage to keep them safe. As they travel through shattered cities and towns they find out that there are groups looking for more than survival."

THE FALL OF MAN Vol. IV
Immersed in her captor's apocalyptic ideology, Katrina learns that they're on crusade to bring peace to the Middle East--no matter what the cost. If she can't prevent their misguided ploy, a scourge will befall humanity, redefining our interpretation of the word MANKIND. In an attempt to prevent Armageddon, IT'S CREATED!"  One of 4 novellas.

Victor Van Heiss Presents: Memoirs of the Apocalypse (Week Two)
"David and his family have made it to the wilderness and begin learning the basics of survival from a friend."
--The above book comes after Victor Van Heiss Presents: Memoirs of the Apocalypse (Week One) which has been free before but isn't at the moment. (There are just these two so far that I can see.) "The series Memoirs of the Apocalypse is a journal of a family that decides to leave society just as a mysterious flu overcomes the entire country. They must learn how to survive in the wilderness while trying to evade the authorities, bandits, wild animals, and victims of a flu called the Pale Death. "

The Burning Rivers (Longevity Law Enforcement)
"In the near future most of the credit for the survival of the U.S., when almost all other countries have fallen into anarchy or repressive oligarchy, lies in the efforts of LLE, Longevity Law Enforcement, an elite squad of detectives granted special prerogatives and charged with enforcing the carefully constructed laws that govern the use of the Longevity process. "

The Wave
"Terrorists have planted a latent explosive material in the popular device (new Smartphone) that will be detonated during the Christmas holidays.  Alerted to the danger, a last ditch effort is launched by authorities and others to have the Wave taken off the market. Social networking as civil defense is born. But the clock is ticking."

No Safe Place
"Sleeper agents for a radical ... terrorist group ... have managed to blend into American society and go undetected - until now."

And the Dominoes Fall
"After a cataclysmic volcanic eruption at Yellowstone National Park leaves most of the United States uninhabitable, their only hope for survival is each other and an unwavering faith in God."
