"What if all the power suddenly vanished?
"One morning, Emma is on her laptop when the internet suddenly dies. Then she finds the lights don't work. And then, outside her window, a plane crashes to the ground. A massive solar flare has knocked out all electricity, all over the planet. And now all of humanity finds itself on the brink of chaos. Realising that she might never see her family again, Emma sets out with her creepy neighbour Pierce on a journey across the country. They hope to find a city where they can find out what's happening. But they stumble from one horrifying experience to another, until finally they find themselves holed up in a library as looters and murderers run amok.
"This is the first volume in a new series. Each book is approximately 20,000 words long. Contains swearing and violence." It seems to be a British-written novel. (That's a good thing. ;) )
