Today's the third Preparedness Fair and we have a number of excellent posts entered.  Please head over and take a look!

I KNOW that of the hundreds of readers here, there are bound to be a number of writers here too---please don't wait for someone else to do it--join in and share!

And please share the Fair with your friends too!

Well, it is taking a while to try and create a new method of doing this!  I've had to create a bunch of new searches and filters, plus it takes longer to list them.  So below are the non-fiction books for today.

These will necessarily include books that have been free before and/or will be free for a long time, as I now have no way any more to tell which books are *newly* free.

To those who have written comments that I haven't replied to yet, this is why--hopefully I'll have a bit of time soon!  Thank you so much.

--------------------------------------

If you could PLEASE PLEASE wait to download until it's been at least 24 hours since you last clicked on one of my Amazon affiliate links..UNLESS you made a paid purchase after clicking it--an affiliate link would include the free books from yesterday AND/OR the Amazon links on the sidebar...this would help to ensure I don't run up the total too quickly and have to stop listing mid-month.***(see explanation at bottom)

For the health and a few other non-fiction, I've tried using the link program.  For the other ones, note that the pictures themselves are no longer links, only the titles of the books are links.

WELCOME TO THE FREE KINDLE BOOKS ON PREPAREDNESS AND SELF-RELIANCE!!!
Please see above for how to read these books without a Kindle, and the sidebar at left for a quick explanation of this blog. Have fun getting new books! :) May I suggest that you check daily so you don't miss all those available for only 24 hrs. Many of yesterday's books will still be free, so if you missed checking then, it's still worth a visit, as you may pick up some gems that way.
------------------------------------
If you are coming here on a later date than March 2, please check the most recent list for today's books: Main Page. (Some of the books below may still be available. Most are free for 1 or 2 days but sometimes they are free longer.)
For the fastest notification of daily posts, please "Like" Prep Utility Vehicle on Facebook. I will post the link to the latest blog post there immediately after publishing it each day. This should help those who have trouble with different readers and email notification being fast enough.http://www.facebook.com/PrepUtilityVehicle
I'm very sorry this list is so late today.  We had visitors most of the day, plus as I explained above, trying to set up a whole new system!

White Clam
“When young Chet Palmer joined the crew of the coastal schooner Exact in the frontier city of Portland in Oregon Territory in the year 1851, he had no intention of losing his freedom. But a routine trading voyage to the Indian west coast of Vancouver Island, with a stop in Puget Sound to offload a group of pioneers who planned to build a city there, has left him in the alien world of the Nootka Indians as a slave and triggered an adventure of survival and enlightenment beyond his wildest imagination.…Chet realizes survival is up to him, a stranger in a strange land. He immerses himself in the ways of the Indians, constantly aware that his life hangs by a thread and danger lurks everywhere. In time, Chet's acquaintance with a fellow slave, a young Salish boy from the Washington Territory, turns to friendship and to partnership as they plot an escape to the freedom of the Puget Sound country to the south.”
